Acis are instructed to try to trace my ancestors listed below, using computer records.
Terms:
One hour’s census research free. Thereafter, research costs £20 an hour.
No charge for transcripts except in the case of the 1911 census (£3) and war records (£1). Birth, marriage and death certificates cost £7 each.
Reference back will be made after the first hour. Before proceeding further a deposit cheque of £20 is required, which will not be banked until work starts.
Transcript and certificate fees will not be incurred without reference back.
After each £20 has been spent, reference back will be made and a further advance payment of £20 is required before continuing.
